Who's your daddy?

Mon Feb 4, 2008, 1:42 PM
I can't wait for this election stuff to be done! I hate all the political crap, on both sides.
But I am keeping my fingers crossed for a democratic victory. I'm not a democrat; don't like to classify myself in a group, because many democratic politicians are often full of shit too. But my views are very liberal for the most part, so I have always voted towards that way.
It will be so good to see Bush go!! I just hope we get someone who is a complete change from him. No more war, better foreign relations and policy, and please keep your God out of our government...sigh. Ok enough of that! I could rant for days.
And yes, I know many people don't agree with my views, and I respect that. We wouldn't be human if we all agreed, eh! We'd be shiny robots with perfect bodies and no brains. :D

Man, science is so interesting and scary at the same time!
Was reading a few articles about sperm made from female bone marrow. And thinking holy shit, I could be a daddy? I could theoretically knock a chick up...wow, lmao!
But creating only daughters because of the lack of the Y chromosome. And of course, eventual female world domination....mmmwwwaaahhh! Haha, no, no, :fear: I wouldn't like that world, I like the male portion of our species too much to want to live in that world.
But really, I'm not sure what I think about this female sperm thing. Some things in nature just shouldn't be messed with, it seems like so much could go wrong. But on the other hand I do see the possibilities too. But the biggest part of me thinks that before we start coming up with ways to create more humans, maybe we should learn how to better care for the ones that are already here. As a whole we have never learned how to do that adequately.

Well, blah, blah, blah. Be well & may the force be with you.

You ain't my daddy. :paranoid:
I think because bone-marrow contains contain stem-cells which can differentiate into any type of cell, even a sperm or an egg. So I guess the same way, they could make an egg out of a guy's bone-marrow. The egg could contain either the X or the Y of the guy's chromosome, so that blows the argument for potential female world domination. At least this way.

Otherwise women are already dominating the world. On the small scale, a wife or girlfriend can get anything from a guy if she is smart enough (and the guy is in love), because in love matters, guys are brainless. At least me. On the large scale women are entering the professional world through lots of channels, and already dominating many fields.

That's fascinating. I hadn't read about that.

I  men. They're simple creatures, but so nice to have about.

Hey now, I never said that they were simple.
I think just the opposite, well speaking of the men I like, love, and or admire, very complex creatures, too complex sometimes perhaps.
Well then, give me some money and the car dad! :D

So what did you think of the game last night?
I check out the last bit of it, my son was diggin it, I think it was the first time he has ever watched a football game.
